A little Background
The water park first started operating as a kids water playground, in the 1980s, named as Dolphin’s Bay. Then in the 1990s some renovations were made, and additions occurred. One of those additions was the large wave pool, which still stands as Canada’s fourth largest wave pool. One thing that attracted people was the installation of the Lazy River. A hot tub and mini golf courses were also built.
Later in the 2000s, the hot tub was removed and some work was done on saltwater attractions. Moving forward to the 2020s, during the COVID-19 the park couldn’t reopen, but after some screening and health precautions, the park was open to the general public in 2023.
